Geriatrics Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Need closer evaluation for anemia or hypothyroidism. Get a complete hemogram and thyroid hormone profile study done.
2. If its normal, diet needs to be looked into. Chronic diseases can cause symptoms like these and improvement in nutrition with addressing concerns regarding chronic diseases is needed. Depression needs to be ruled out.
3. Family support and involvement in social activities is necessary. Mild exercises will improve the metabolism. More details and lab test results necessary for further opinion.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
