Dear Friend,

It seems you have taken the medicines of your own without any medical expert advice. These medicines are to be taken only with Obstetrician's advice.

For medical termination of pregnancy, Tab. Mifepristone is to be followed by Tab. Misoprostol (Cytotec). This combination is very effective and safe. Now it seems that you have taken only Misoprostol. Though only Misoprostol can be give, it has not completed the process of abortion. There are two possibilities:
1. The baby is no more living; still the abortion process is not completed.
2. The medicine has failed.

This medicine is known to cause developmental abnormality in the baby if it fails to complete the abortion and the pregnancy is continued. Hence, you will have to get the pregnancy terminated. You have two safer and simpler options for that:

1. Take Tab. Mifepristone followed after 24-48 hours by Tab. Misoprostol. You should take this medicines only after consulting an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist. If this regime also fails, then you have to go for:
2. Surgical evacuation of the uterus. You may not opt for the first option and choose this option directly.

So now, please do not waste time. Report to an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist ASAP to avoid any complications of missed abortion.

I hope this has given you appropriate guidance.
