Suggest Methods To Control High Bp
Sir, I am suffering from High BP Problem last 22 years and at present taking High BP medicine Eritel LN 40Mg 30-40 days, Now feeling back ache last 10 days. Kindly prescribe me another suitable medicine if it is side effect. Normally BP range stand: 140/100 sometime increase to 160/120.With Best Regards,Suresh0000

Hello welcome to HCM. I have read your question and understand your concerns.
Target blood pressure according to latest guidelines is less than 140 /90 mmhg for any age. So at present your blood pressure is looking controlled.
Tab sartel - LN is a good medicine which will control effectively the blood pressure. So, kindly continue it.
Most of the pain killers available will increase blood pressure temporarily. So I will advise you to apply local ointment for pain. At maximum you can take Tramadol or Paracetamol on written prescription.
For adequate control of blood pressure do regular brisk walking, cycling, exercise, anyone of them.
Avoid oily and salty food. Avoid excessive stress and take regular sleep.
If you feel your blood pressure is remaing fluctuating then you can ask your doctor for 24 hrs blood pressure monitoring machine at home.
