Suggest Methods Of Dressing A Wound

Hello, I cut the skin on the tip off of my finger and they had to burn it to get it to stop bleeding. The wound has been bandaged for 3 days now. Should I clean the wound and rebandage it for a certain period of time or should the bandage come off at this point so that the wound can breath for healing? Thank you.

The bandage nay be removed now as haemostasis would have occurred by now A topical antibacterial cream like mupirocin can be applied over the affected area to prevent secondary infection. Avoid fiddling with the wound. Avoid the use of excess soap over the affected area. Consult your doctor regarding the above mentioned therapy. Regards
