Suggest Mediction For Soreness In And Around Leg After Being Bitten By Cat

I was bitten by my own cat aprox 5 weeks ago. My primary doctor has had me on 2 different antibiotics since then and prescribed ssd cream for the wounds, as they were very deep puncture wounds. Anyway, she also did a culture about 2 weeks ago and told me staph was starting to grow and at that time put me on a stronger antibiotic. Since then the wounds seem to be healing but the area on my leg in and around them is very sore. The area is also swollen and puffy and really feels as if it is stinging all the time. I have had a total of 4 joint replacements to date, so I am very concerned. Should I go to see a Infectious disease doctor?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern you have not mentioned the site of wound where actually cat has bitten you, from the history I could say that it could be septic and if I would your doctor the then I would treat this case with "Tab Amoxicillin with clavulanic acid twice in day, if wound does not get healing process then you have to see the surgeon, take care and have a nice day.
