Suggest Medicines For Severe Cramps

I have very VERY severe cramps on every first day of my period, to the point that I can't function. I talked to my doctor and we tried different meds that didn't work, and now I am planning to start birth control after I start my next period. I was supposed to start a few days ago. I'm worried that it won't come before Saturday, when I leave for a mission trip. So I was just wondering if there's any way to help it come sooner?

I really appreciate your concern and looking to the history given here I could say that if this is dysmenorrhea then the best option for this is Ibuprofen this definitely gives good result, in my opinion no need to take the hormone pill for this, hope this information helps you, have a nice day.
