Suggest Medicines For Cold And Cough In Infants
Hello doc... Ma son is 7mnths old, he has v bad cold n cough..tried many medicinez like kufril,kidpred n many..plz suggest a gd 1...n most importanly he has lost lots of weight...i hav started giving him Simyl MCT oil ..10drops in tsp thrice a day ..is it ok..n if nt what shud i giv him to gain weight. .plz suggest

weight loass due to respiratory tract infection is very common among paediatric age group.
you need to follow some steps;
1.good protection to your child
2.routine vaccination and vit A dosage.
3.proper nutrition
4.you can use kufril,simyl mct oil.
5.during each episode consult paediatritian asap.
6.you can give your baby syrup azithromycin,cotrimoxazole in paediatric dosage.
