Suggest Medicines For TB And Its Side Effects

my mother aged 73 diagonsed TB and the doctor has prescirbe Rcinex 600 mg before breafest and Pyzing 750 mg twice a day and Conbutol 800 mg abd Benedun for treatment. However, a Safderjung Hospital sr. professor has prescrbe Monto 4 red empty stomach and green after breakfast. Pl advise me which medicine should be given to my mother and what would be its side effect keeping in view of his age.

Medication to be given for TB includes Rifampicin , Ethambutol , Pyrazinamide, Isoniazid. The dosage required depends on the body weight of the patient .

The medicine prescribed to your mother by two different doctors are same but there is minor dose variation in them ( but medicines in both are same ) . So which medicine needs to be given depends on the body weight .

Kindly let me know the body weight of your mother and I will advise you the right medicine .
