Suggest Medicine For Cough, Sore Throat, Chest Pain And Fever
I ve gotten a rapid onset sore throat and a very high pitched cough that is producing clear mucous. My chest is hurting in lower left lobe. Low grade fever and chills. Extreme fatigue. Took OTC cough med but no relief. I can t stop coughing and my throat and chest hurt. Anterior upper chest hurts. Lower left lobe pain is posterior. Started out with drainage down my throat, but the rapid escalation is concerning me.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of cough, sore throat, chest pain and fever which is due to severe upper respiratory tract infection.
Need not to worry. I would suggest visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get chest X-ray and pulmonary function tests done to check extent of infection and start treatment accordingly. Drink glass of warm water with spoon of honey. Do warm saline gargles. You should avoid cold liquids and spicy food. You should take some mucolytic drugs to dissolve mucus and your symptoms will be relieved.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon. Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
