Suggest Medications For Wenkebach

ive been taking atenolol 50mg for over 5 years now for wenkebach. lately (twice in two weeks) ive had to take a second 50 because im feeling bad. does this indicate that i need a pacemaker at 46 yrs. old, or are there other medications that would help?

Thanks for your query.
There is something missing in the query posted by you. Atenolol is a beta-blocker and is not used for AV nodal block. Wenkebache is type of AV nodal block. In fact it is contraindicated in significant AV nodal blocks.
Need for pacemaker will depend upon your heart rhythm evaluation by ECG, Holter or loop recorder.
Do see your cardiologist on priority.
