Suggest Medications For Thyroditis

Diagnosed with thyroditis, have been feeling constant ear pressure, pressure in jaw, lower back of neck and shoulders in addition to balance problems and difficulty lying down flat. dropping sensations when eyes are closed. MRIs are clear. taking thyroid meds for six weeks now and no improvement.

Hello,
Sorry to learn about your bothersome symptoms.
There are some types of thyroiditis, by the symptoms you described the most probable diagnosis is subacute thyroiditis which is caused by a viral infection.
The first line of treatment is nonsteroid inflamators but if you do not see any improvement corticosteroids are indicated.
If the pain persists you should discuss with your treating physician to about alternative treatments.
