Suggest Medications For Swelling Of Lips.

My dad has awoken with a swollen bottome lip 3 days ago. The next day he was fine. The next day his top lip was swollen. The next day he was fine, and today he awoke with a hoarse voice. Nothing is hurting....what could this be indicative of? Should we be concerned? His lip has swollen in the past....we took him to the doctor, and they found nothing.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
Such an alternative, pain less swelling may be due to the allergy to some thing, using since last few days, it may be medicine, new brand of alcohol, new foods, etc.
Ibuprofen usually have such reaction to some people.
I advise you consult your doctor, for diagnosis.
By tracing out such things and avoiding such new things will prevent such recurrence of the allergy.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
