Suggest Medications For Swelling In Distal Phalanx
I have had a slight swelling on the exterior side of the distal phalanx for over 2 months. It started after a paper cut but no infection developed. THere was itching which subsided after a few weeks. Now it is movable (independent of the joint), white/normal color. I had been prescribed first a topical lidocaine, then cortisone cream to remove swelling, to no avail

Hi you have a swelling on the outer side of your Distal phalanx for over 2 months , started after a paper cut. This swelling is most probably a Bunionette and In my opinion if there is no pain , then just leave it alone. If pain , swelling present then you may have to for surgical excision. Using Shoes with wide toe box also helps.
