my pug is suffering from eye problem in which the white part has swollen and he is not able to see.......earlier it was in one eye but now it has started in other one also. a doctor has recommended silverix eye ointment- should i use this or some other eye ointment??????? please help.....!!!

Swelling of white part of eye is chemosis of conjunctiva which is probably mechanically obstructing the vision.
One should use anti histaminic both topically and orally.
If poor response , then antibiotic + steroid drops in tapering dose.
