Suggest Medications For Lump In Throat

There is a lump on the back of my throat. There is pain when I swallow. It is a different pain than strep throat. Just showed up randomly. I don t smoke. I have been sexually active with the same person for 8 months and I am sure that there is not cheating on either side going on. There is pain on the inside of my throat and out side of my neck when I swallow.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms are non-specific. A provisional diagnosis cannot be made on the description given by you - it could be anything from a non existent condition but a simple scare from your side to anything from an infection to other causes of lump and pain in the throat. My recommendation is that if the symptoms do not stop in a week's time, please consult an ENT so that he could thoroughly evaluate you.

Regards,
Sreenivasan
