Suggest Medications For Hypertension Apart From Atenolol?

Hello sir ,
I am a hypertension patient from last five yrs. and taking atenolol 50 bd.
Can u pls. Suggest any other medicines . Because after taking atenolol headache and giddiness are very common symptoms from which I m suffering.

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
You are using the atenolol since 5 years, bit you are feeling head ache, and giddiness now means the power of the pills is not sufficient now and your B.P. might have increased.
I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment.
you may need to have E.C.G, and other tests for diagnosis.
If the B.P. is high in spite of the tablets,you can stop atenolol, and use some other medicine according to your doctors advise.
