Hello,

Urgent need to go for passing stool at odd times like at night and fainting at that time indicates one of the following:

- Severe colitis
- Any arterial occlusion of the intestine
- Intestinal obstruction and so on

This can be diagnosed by the following:

- Clinical evaluation and examination by a Doctor hence rush to ER (Emergency Room)
- Urgent investigations of blood, stool and urine
- X-ray of abdomen and Ultrasonography

Other investigations can be done as needed or advised to get a proper diagnosis so that a proper management can be done to get a relief and cure.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant
