Suggest Medications For Bruise In Hand

My son punched a punching bag over a year ago and sustained a bruise to the side of his right hand , purple in color extending from the bottom of the pinkie to the bottom of the hand, again all on the right side of the right hand, the bruise will not go away. He says it is causing him pain now , he indicates he might have aggrevated it again. Should it be x rayed?

Hi welcome to healthcare magic forum,
Definitely yes your son should get a X-Ray done of that part and show to a doctor there is chance of hairline fracture, and if fracture then cast has to be put along with rest of limb.So please get the X-ray done.
Regards,
Thanks
