hi doctor, I am pradeep m from delhi, i have hail loose an hair problem i consult with a doctor he give s me some medicine for my hair improvement, hairbless tablet, macfolate capsule and more f 5% lotion for hair so please help me its, good for me or not..

I appreciate your concern for the efficacy of the prescribed medications for hair fall.

As of date, the Food and Drug Adminstration (FDA) has approved only two drugs Minoxidil and Finasteride for the treatment of hair loss.

Hair fall or loss can be caused by a number of conditions like androgenetic alopecia (age related male pattern baldness), hormonal or nutritional deficiencies, auto immune diseases or stress.

Morr-f is a combination of topical Minoxidil and topical Finasteride, therefore found to be effective for the treatment of hair loss due to androgenetic alopecia.

The other prescribed medications like "Hairbless" tablet & Macfolate are actually multivitamins (including Biotin, folic acid, B12, etc which are essential for the hair growth) and important minerals like zince, selenium that are required for the hair growth.

Yes, the prescribed medications are good for you.
