Suggest Medication To Control BP And Tingling Sensation In Hand

High bp since several years, and bp appears to be increasing despite medication. Mild pain in left arm and hand with tingling sensation. I consume two or three pegs of liquor and I play golf often. Iam 65years with average wt. my doctor referred me to a cardiologist who took my ECG & echo test , both normal. My bp & pain in left arm is not coming under control, what do I do? Consult neurologist or some other specialist. Please advise.

Hello
Welcome here.
I can understand your concerns.
First advice would be to cut down your alcohol.
Radiating pain in arm with tingling sensation in hand can be due to cervical spondylosis. An xray of cervical spine would be helpful.
Second reason would be due to peipheral neuropathy. It can be caused by vitamin deficiency due to alcohol consumption. Go for vitamin B12 test.
You can consult a neurologist.

If blood pressure is not controlled by medicines, a change in drug or increase in dose is needed. Alongwith that, complete restriction in salt intake and oily foods is mandatory.

Hope this helps.
