Suggest Medication To Conceive With Thyroid Problem
hi i am taking thyroid 0.05mg medicine and i want to get fast pregnentcy. we are trying from last month. should i take folic acid medicine? my friend told me to take tablet everyday to get fast pregnentcy. my freind taking folic acid tablet everyday and she is pregnent. she is also patient of thyroid. how to get fast pregnentcy with thyroid and taking folic acid gone affect in my health? pls answer me.

Folic acid is recommended during the preconception period as it will help in the neurological development of the baby when you get pregnant. But taking folic acid itself will not fasten the conception. The possible steps that can help you in getting pregnant are:
- Continue taking thyroid tablets and try to keep the thyroid profile in normal range.
- Plan unprotected intercourse around the time of ovulation which will increase the possibility of pregnancy.
- If you are not able to conceive naturally, please consult your gynecologist once and take tablets for ovulation induction then track the ovulation by the follicular study and plan accordingly.
