Suggest Medication To Avoid Pregnancy And To Get Periods
Hi ..im 20 yr old ND I m missed my period in one month .i dnt kwn tht I m pregnant ya NT .how to start my periods.i dnt want be pregnant.so plz give advices to avoid my pregnancy.give me tablet name to do fast .nd start my periods .plz. Dr help I hv no option

From your history, I gather that you have missed your period for one month and you do not want the pregnancy now.
Before taking any action, first you should find about the status of your pregnancy. At this stage, pregnancy test on urine, Beta hCG test and/or Ultrasonography - all will give you reliable evidence to know whether you are pregnant or not. You may opt for any one or more of these tests.
If you are pregnant, the pregnancy can be terminated by medicines Tab. Mifepristone and Tab. Misoprostol upto 9 weeks of gestation. However, these tablets are prescription medicines and should be taken only with a Gynaecologist's advice and prescription. They have to be taken in prescribed dosage and timing. Moreover, they cause developmental abnormalities in the baby. Hence, if they fail to abort, the pregnancy should be terminated by some surgical method like MVA aspiration or so.
Alternatively, you may prefer to get the pregnancy terminated by some surgical method like MVA aspiration, suction evacuation, etc.
If your pregnancy test(s) indicate that you are not pregnant, you may take some progestational preparation like Deviry for 5 days. Then within 4-7 days you should get withdrawal bleeding.
If the same pattern repeats, please report to a Gynaecologist.
