Suggest Medication For Varices On Tongue Going Down Till Throat

I think I have varices on the portion of my tongue going down my throat. They just appeared a few days ago--that feeling of something in my throat. :(
I know I need to see my doctor but I just moved. What could cause this horrible thing to happen? It feels like choking almost.
