Suggest Medication For Swelling Of Thumb Due To Injury
I scraped some dried food off my stove top and a small sharp piece got jammed under my thumb nail. I think I got it all out but I am not sure. Today it is a bit swollen and feels warm. It hurts when pressure is applied to it. Is there anything I can do for it at home or should I see a doctor. Thank you for your help.

Pulp space injury has to be managed thoroughly. Consult a general practitioner and start a short course of antibiotics.
You can also apply warm compression for symptomatic relief. Nothing much to worry and the symptoms will settle in a few days.
