I used Monistat 1 yesterday for my first ever yeast infection. The itching/burning sensation has decreased but now my labia minora is inflamed. I am using the Monistat cream that comes with Monistat 1 but am wonering if there is anything else that I could do to decrease the swelling.

OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Just continue the cream. Wash regularly with warm water. Cold compression might reduce the swelling.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana Rajesh Babu, OB & GYN Specialist
