Suggest Medication For Stomach Ulcer

I have a stomach ulcer fro taking ipubrofen. My doctor put me on medication. Two pills a day for a month then one a day for a month (can t remenber name) When i finished the course itreturned after fhree dats and now feels the same again. It doesn t make any difference what I eat or even if I drink water. I m beside myself Liz

Your symptoms are nonspecific, but these may be suggestive of gastritis, GERD or hiatal hernia so you should do gastroscopy to evaluate it more accurately. This is caused by irritation of stomach mucosa by certain food or medications, stress and smoking. You need to avoid fried food, carbonated drinks, coffee, alcohol and spicy food. You should eat more milk products, vegetables and boiled food. Also, certain antiacid medications such as Ranitidin 150mg or pantoprasol 4mg may be required by diagnosis should be established first by endoscopy.
