Suggest Medication For Splinter Noticed Inside The Knuckle

I had a small swelling on my large inside knuckle it seemed slightly translucent.i applied a drawing ointment as I thought it was a splinter !I think too much as the finger became reddish and swollen.i then tried to get splinter out with a sterilised needle I couldn t find it.Last night I cleaned it and applied savlon cream and a dressing.this morning it is still swollen but less red.I can t bend it.It is my right index finger.What shall I do? Thank you .

It may be myxoid cyst also called digital mucous cyst. Consult the dermatologist or surgeon for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. There are surgical and nonsurgical treatment for myxoid cyst.
