Suggest Medication For Severe Urine Infection

hi Doc, i am having burning and severe urine infection i keep getting it frequently but this time i got it after an year almost. I was down with very high viral fever on 2 nd got hospitalised and got back home on 8th of this month. I was given Ceftum 500 BD for 7 days Initially intervenous and then orally. now my question is wat medicine will be safe for me now

I have gone through your query. You should go for a urine routine examination to rule out urinary infection. Urine should be send for culture and sensitivity also. For such case if you were my patient then i would initially start on fluroquinolone antibiotic norfloxacin and change antibiotic if necessary after culture report. I also recommend using sodium citrate or potassium citrate in water which will be helpful in relieving symptoms and infection faster.
