Suggest Medication For Severe Nasal Congestion

I was wondering what the best medicine to take is for a stuffed up nose . It bothers me when I lay down and I have a panic attack because I can't breathe right. It is basically only at night. I am a mouth breather. I keep sniffing and trying to clear up my nose , but it isn't plugged. I feel like I have to blow my nose but there is nothing there.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain nasal congestion can be due to a number of causes like common cold, sinus infection or sinusitis, nasal polyps, allergies, deviated nasal septum, foreign body in nose, etc..

I would suggest you to consult an ENT Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like nasal endoscopy, x ray of Paranasal sinuses, MRI etc can help in ruling out the exact cause and will be treated accordingly..

As of now you can do steam inhalation, use a decongestant nasal spray like Xylometazoline and also sleep with head slightly raised as compared to feet..
