Suggest Medication For Severe Migraine In An Elderly Lady

My mother who s 91 has a major migraine since yesterday. She s taken extra strength Advil but nothing seems to help. She has mentioned these migraines to doctors in the past, but they all have said thats not migraine, well she should know as she s the one experiencing the pain. What can I do to help her relieve the pain?

welcome to HCM,
dont worry,it may not be migraine,there are different cauese of such headache other than migraine.
like cluster headache,tension headache,SAH,SINUSITIS etc.
you have to tell me some some history like,
if it is associated with nausea vomiting
watering from eyes
,aura,
if there is any depression
duration and frequency
i would advice you to use PARACITAMOL TAB or NAPROXEN+SUMATRIPTAN combination during an acute attack.
also do a CT scan brain and consult a neurologist.
