Suggest medication for scabs on scalp

I have recurring scabs on my scalp and occasionally on my face. I got a pine based shampoo from my gp who thought it might be a fungal infection it did nothing. I got an antibiotic cream for my face which helps them getting worse but they just won t go away and seem to occur in the same places each time. Any suggestions please?

Recurring scabs suggest a subsiding bacterial infection, so, rather than using antifungal shampoo, u should use a shampoo that has antibacterial properties like Cetrilak lotion, which is to be applied on the scalp for 10 min. followed by washing, use it thrice weekly..Also , u need to rule out the underlying causes for recuurence like pediculosis, rec.folliculitis etc. for which a dermatologists' evaluation will be required.
I wish happy recovery!
