Suggest Medication For Rickets

Hi, Sir My 16 months baby boy's wrist xray shows that he has little bit syntoms of rickets. After seen the xray the doctor has given him Injection Arachitol ( 6 lac) and suggested us for 25 hydroxy test within a weak. In the test the report shows level of vitamin d is 150 ng/ml as toxin. What is the reason for increasing level of vitamin d in the body of my baby? Can vitamin D level be increased due to given him Injection Arachitol ( 6 lac).

Thanks and welcome to HCM .
Arachitol is the brand name of inj. Vitamin D.
Lack or deficiency of Vitamin D causes Rickettes.
If we inject Vitamin D healing of Rickettes occurs.
In addition we have to give calcium supplement
Exposure to sunshine is helpful.
Vitamin D containing foods in the diet is advised.
Excess vitamin D leads ti toxicity.
Hence vitamin D levels are measured.
