Suggest Medication For Pain Relief And Muscle Relaxation
Hi My grandmother is around 95 years. She slipped in bathroom and due to that she has got pain in back. She gets pain while sleeping, changing side, getting up & also coughing. Please suggest suitable medication for pain relief & muscle relaxation. Also note that the medicine should not cause any allergy to skin. Certain pain killers cause her allergy. Her eyes, ears n face gets swollen. So plz take note of that before prescribing proper medicine.

Hi,
At this age fracture of hip bone or ball of femur is a common problem due to osteoporosis or osteomalacia.
So consult orthopedic surgeon and rule out fracture or dislocation.
As she is allergic to some pain killers, you can give paracetamol for pain.
Avoid more movement of site.
Take full precaution to prevent bed sores.
Ok and take care.
