Suggest Medication For Pain And Bruise In Arm Due To A Injury

I was playing around with my dog yesterday and hit my arm on the outer side on a metal post. I have a wonderful huge bruise with minimal swelling. I have iced it and taken NSAID s with no relief. My arm is fine until I try to turn my arm palm up. Should I be concerned or just ride the pain out?

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you has a bruise your arm with minimal swelling. You iced it and taken NSAIDS with no relief. You can switch to narcotic analgesic such as tramadol for pain relief.Hematoma (bruise) will gradually resolved by itself. Thrombophob gel local application three times a day over it(no rubbing) can help in resolving it. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful.
