Suggest Medication For Lumps Appearing On The Scrotum

Hi, I have had what I believe to be a male yeast infection which has caused bumps redness peeling skin and itching on my scrotum. I have been treating it with clotrimazole for a week now and it is much better however tonight for no reason I had moderate to severe pain in my left testicle for about 20 minutes. It was very sensitive to touch especially on top in the back. It also seemed to be redder than usual. There was no swelling and it was not higher up than the other it was actually quite low. The pain subsided and I feel fine now but I have spent the last 2 hours looking to see what it was and if it is possible it was just an isolated incident. The pain extended into my abdomin but I have no irregular or painful urination. No blood in any of my fluids. no other signs that theres a problem. what you think?

hi,
thank you for putting up your query on HCM.
as per your history, you may have scrotal dermatitis or fungal infection.. also pain in the testis could be due to testicular torsion/orchitis.
my treatment advise would be:
--best is not to ignore it, and consult a surgeon nearby and get your urine investigations and ultrasound done.
-- also you can take pain killers like tab ibuprofen for pain.
-- you can also wear scrotal support underwear, that will be available at medical stores.
-- while lying down, place a rolled towel under your scrotum.
-- also, continue applying clotrimazole cream for fungal infection and maintain hygiene.
-- you may also take tab levocetrizine twice a day for itching.
wishing you good health.
thank you
