Suggest Medication For Loose Stools With Positive Pus Cells And RBC In An Infant

My 2 month old baby is passing loose stools since last 4 days. It has a bad smell, sometimes with mucus, greenish yellow at times, frothy once in a while. He had similar problems almost 3 weeks ago. Doctor initially prescribed Walamycin 5 day course after finding puss cells (7-8) and traces of RBC in the stool sample. Puss cells seemed to reduce after 3 days to 2-3 but again increased after 5th day course to 4-5. Doctor changed the medication to Gramogyl 1ml 3 times a day. Baby was better for a week or so. Now since 4 days the same problem, but with additional problem of bad smell. I got his stools tested again. Pus cells are 4-5 and positive for RBC traces. Do I need to consult the pediatrician? Pls. advise.

I would suggest you to visit pediatrician once baby is having loose motion and she is loosing body fluid so that require some urgent attention rather then changing the doctor frequently.
Meanwhile you can start homeopathy treatment medicine has a good response in such cases.
Camphor 30 6 pills 4 times in day
Aethusa 30 6 pills t times in day

Take the medicine for 15 days and revert me back
