Suggest Medication For High Triglyceride And LDL And Low HDL

I USE TO TAKE FENOFRIBRATE AND STATIN(5 MG)COMBINATION SPL TO LOWER MY TRIGLICERIDE. AFTER ONE AND HALF YEAR I CHECKED LFT TEST.SGPT AND SGOT BECAME HIGH(151 AND 98).STOP ANTICHOLESTEROL DRUG AND STARTED UDILIV 300 B.I.D. AND EXCERCISES,FAT FREE DIET(AS MUCH POSSIBLE).AFTER 3 MONTHS NOW SGPT IS 40 AND SGOT 26. TRIGICERIDE IS 180(BECOMES LOWER). BUT LDL INCREASES TO 162 AND HDL IS 39. Hi,

You have good results with diet and exercises. I would advise you to see your doctor to reevaluate your cardiovascular risk. Maybe it has declined and there is no need for medications. If it is still high you may start either with low dose of statins or fibrates under strict control of liver enzymes.
