Suggest Medication For Headaches And Swelling Of Hands And Feet
Hello, I am joyce, I m having trouble with my feets swelling up on me and my hands as well. Also I have very bad headaches at the same time. Now I notice that my eyes takes a while to focus back to stable. Very burly vison. Can you tell me what mite be the problem.
Thank you for your question on HCM! I appreciate your concern.
There are many causes of feet and hands swelling. I would mention: - Renal disease - Liver disease -Cardiac disorders - Rheumatologic disorders - Electrolytes imbalance
I don't think that headaches are related to any neurological disorder, but to the primary cause of the limb swelling.
I would recommend to perform some tests to establish the cause: -a routine blood test -kidney and liver function tests -inflammatory tests: PCR, fibrinogen, sedimentation -Rheumatologic testing: ANA, ANCA, ENA -Electrolytes. -chest xray -abdominal ultrasound. I would also advise you to closely monitor your blood pressure.
Hope to have been helpful!
Greetings! Dr. Aida
