Hi, thanks for posting your concern in HCM. From your history, I suppose you are known hypothyroid on Thyroxine. The Tsh level you mentioned is due to medication. It means you need to continue this medicine. You haven't mentioned your TSH level prior to the onset of treatment with this medicine. So, the decline in TSH could not be perceived from the history. Secondly, your headache seems to be due to migraine. Migraine headache is characterized by one or more of the following- visual problem, nausea, photophobia, vomiting and even neurodeficit (specially in basilar variant). To rule out other causes of headache, you should have imaging of your brain done (CT scan and / or MRI). For the time being you can start on paracetamol tablets orally (dosage according to your age/ body weight) or naproxen or ibuprofen SOS. I would prefer paracetamol because it causes least adverse effects on your kidney. Avoid light and noise during headache and avoid sleep deprivation. Diet should be light, frequent and healthy. Please consult a neurologist for further clinical examination and he will advise you to have relevant investigations done so that we can reach a definitive diagnosis for your headache. Please write back in HCM if you have any further query.
