Hi, I am on thyronorm 100mcg from feb 2012... My TSH was 19.6... I Ichecked my ysh after 5 months it was normal 1.96.. Dr advised me to continue 100mcg for 2 more mnths again ... I checked my tsh in Aug n found it was 3.5.. Now Im confused ... Do I need to increase my dose?
Dear ma'm, hi! normally if a dose brings your thyroid values normal , that dose remains same till either you missed some days, or you put on weight, or you been taking the drug after meals or not following proper instructions. if in your case any of these is applicable, please correct them, and also TSH 3.5 is still not very high to increase the dose. regards!
