Suggest Medication For Fever

My son who is 2 yrs 8 months old has benn having fever since the last 4 days along with cough. I gave him Calpol for the first 2 days and now I am giving him Meftal-p along with Augmentin Duo. His fever right now is 40 degrees and is not coming down. Please help...

You may give your child Ibuprofen syrup with Augmentin. Cold compresses are mandatory as well.
