Suggest Medication For Fever With ESR 80
my father suffering lung cancer. Cisplatin and radiotherpy completed (sept'11) and second line cemotherpy ( carboplatin) is going on. Right now he is suffeing from fever. all fever related test completed and all report is negative. but his ESR rate is 80. how to control his fever.

I would advise him to take tablet augmentin 625 mg thrice daily after food for 7 days along with tablet levofloxacin 500 mg once daily after food for 5 days.
