General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
I understand your concern.
- Eosinophil cells are increased as a natural response to allergy. With high eosinophil counts. Hetrazan is a drug which reduces the cell levels , the course needed is 8-10 days( de3pending on the severity of rise ). So you should not expect instant results with hetrazan.Cetrizine being anti allergic medicine.. it has a quick effect to stop allergic symptoms.
Please follow the regime advised by your doctor fully & then visit your doctor for further advise.
- Recognizing & avoiding allergens is essential along with the treatment.( you can get allergy testing & desensitization after getting eosinophil levels normal )
Thanks.
