Suggest Medication For Diarrhea With Low Grade Fever

I got watery motion and litte temp about 100 f yesterday and I cosulted one Doctor he prescribe me imosec m two tablet

with an atibotic and for fever wich I completed the course yesterayToday until now no change then I aain went to same Doc

He told totake levoflox-750 1/2 tab two time in a day with metrogyl 400 3 times a day for 4 days but I still feel nil improvement

please sugest.

Hello,

You have not been prescribed with Fluoroquinolone and Metronidazole combination drug for 7 days. Complete its course. It covers almost many bacteria and its broad-spectrum antibiotic combination. Maintain hydration with lots of water, avoid excess spicy foods and fatty meals, small meal taken in frequent interval, take probiotic tablet and yogurt in diet as well.

Your investigation done as follows:
• Widal test
• Stool routine microexamination and culture
• USG abdomen or x-ray if needed

In stool examination, if specific organism found then treated accordingly. Consult gastroenterologist for examination and further work-up accordingly, if needed.
