Suggest Medication For Cough

Really bad cough lots of mucus coming up, yellow. Dr gave me hyd pol/com liquid and amoxicillin, four days ago. I'm still so tired and coughing up mucus. Is this Normal. I need to go back to work. One person was out before me with same thing. I guess same thing. I've had this mucus showing up for a several months, in small lumps that I cough up. One person in office says she smells the mold in my office, could this be what trigger this.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Mold exposure can cause coughing. It can also be associated with sneezing, nasal congestion, skin and eye irritation.
If you and other members of staff suspect that there is mold in your environment, you should speak to your supervisor.

A viral or bacterial respiratory tract infection can also cause these symptoms. This is more common than mold.
The medications that you are using would help but it can still take 10 days or 2 weeks for a cough to completely resolve.

I hope this helps
