Suggest Medication For Constipation

Hello Sir, I have been suffering from constipation from past two months, it was occasional, use to settle down without any medicine, past 15 days, it increases, noticing severe pain while passing stool, after passing stool, feeling burning and itching. Hence, I have consulted physician, prescribed, Orio 1-0-1, Cremafin -0-01, Smuth. However, I have taken medicine, seen bit relief, still feeling some pain, burning and itching regularly, if I stop taking creamfin, will use to see hard stool. Please provide me your input and suggestion for same.

Hello,

Some advice that I can give to you is:

-Drink more water.
-Eat more fiber, especially soluble, non-fermentable fiber.
-Exercise more.
-Take Senna, an herbal laxative.
-Eat probiotic foods or take probiotic supplements.
-Take over-the-counter or prescription laxative.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
