In order to get a proper diagnose you need to consult an allergy specialist, who may determine what subtype of cold urticaria you suffer from. As a general rule you need to avoid exposure to cold water (cold baths, swimming in cold water), wear heavy clothes if you live in a cold climate, avoid touching cold objects like: coins, door handles etc. In specific cases, in which the disease can t be controlled with these measures, there are certain drugs like: anti-histamines that can help.
