Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,

Cough with sputum, cold, runny nose and headache with dizziness on standing or walking are mostly due to viral infections of upper respiratory tract (pharynx, sinus, larynx, epiglottis, bronchi) and should be given some medical attention.

However, some times it could be due to bacterial infection also but here in your case,it is highly unlikely.

Your 10 pounds weight loss has no clinically significance,so there is no need to be worried about it.

You should go for routine blood count and sputum examination and X-ray chest to rule out infective pathology of lungs and to be in a safer side.

You will require antibiotics (quinolones or macrolides) to prevent super infection with pain killers (paracetamol) and anti-inflammatories (ibuprofen), antihistamines (cetrizine) with other supportive treatment.

Avoid cold water and cold products further, since doing so may cause further inflammation in throat.

Nebulization and steam inhalation 2 to 3 times daily will also be helpful.

With all above medication, you will start improving in 2 or 3 days and in case,if not then consult your local doctor or GP for further advise.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
