Suggest Medication For Chronic Back Pain

Chronic low back pain. FINDINGS : MRI of the lumbosacral spine was performed and correlated with the patient recent x-rays of the lumbosacral spine dated from the 4.4.2010. The vertebral alignment and vertebral height are preserved. There is established disco-osteophytic OA changes throughout the lumbosacral spine. There is associated dehydration of the intervertebral discs at most levels. There is also associated mild broad based disc bulges. These are minimal most pronounced at L5-S1 level, none is causing any significant central or foraminal stenosis. Dedicated axial images demonstrate established degenerative changes within the facet joints with hypertrophy of the ligamentum flavum especially at L3-L4, L4-L5 and L5-S1 levels. Appearances of the distal cord and the cauda equina rootlets are within normal limit. IN CONCLUSION Mild lumbar spondylosis with facet joint degenerative changes.

What is your age? your mri is showing degenerative changes which are age related. You require active physiotherapy for your back pain. Take a visit to physiotherapists for 1. Back extension and back strengthening exercises 2. Abdominal strengthening excersise 3. Short wave diathermy. Try this for 10 days. Take tablet Myospas forte 1-0-1 for 7 days and tab shelcal ct once a day for 1 month. Take milk and milk product's In diet on regular basis. Do not worry much about mri findings.
