Hello and thank you for using HCM. I carefully read you question and i understand your concern.
My opinion as a cardiologist is that you have a very good lipid profile. It is our goal in cardiology for preventing ischemic heart problems to acceave LDL levels below 100 and you have done it.
In our cardio-logic guidelines we want a LDL below 100 and a high HDL level, over 40, because it is the good cholesterol. So, well done, you deed it.
But this does not mean that you should stop your medications. You have this values because of treating and this means you should of course continue fibator whith the same dose.
Fibator and ecospirin have different functions. They do not concur with each other. You can not choose one of them because they have different functions. I suppose that your doctor has decided to give you ecospir that is simple aspirin to reduce your cardiovascular risk because of high cholesterol. I cant give an opinion about this because i don't know your age and you other cardiovascular risk factors.
But looking this values i must say that you are in a very good road and you should continue this way with your both medications. Do not stop nether of them.
Hope I was helpful. BEST REGARDS.
